The foundation took on its most daring project yet, while partnering with the Los Angeles Lakers, together they decided to refurbishing Nickerson Gardens Recreation Center in the heart of Watts in Los Angeles, California. They refurbished two existing basketball courts and added two new half courts with adjustable backboards.
