Oklahoma Clinic

June 24, 1995 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Because of the devastating consequences of the bombing in Oklahoma City, The Foundation For Athletes Helping Kids, under the direction of The National Organization of Victim Assistance (NOVA), sponsored by the Office for Victims of Crime, U.S. Department of Justice, brought 22 N.F.L ball players both active and retired to Oklahoma to work with the children that were directly and indirectly affected by the bombing.

The ball players worked with these 650 children in hopes it would ease their pain. The results of the clinics were incredibly successful.

As a result of this success, The Foundation For Athletes Helping Kids has started working with grieving children after violent death, in sports clinics around the country in association with NOVA, sponsored by the Office for Victims of Crime, U.S. Department of Justice.
